About the Day

We chose the Carribbean because we already went to Hawaii and it is cheaper to go all inclusive in the Bahamas. We've heard great things and we just want a simple, beach-themed wedding. Todd and I will be formal, our groomsmen, Troy, Nick and Zack will be wearing a flowy-kinda, all white outfit with a stripe of "ambeauty" which is the color of my bridesmaids dresses. My bridesmaids are Alexis, Claire and Danya and they will be wearing a flowy, knee length chiffon dress, very pretty and simple. We chose to have the reception at Troy and Danya's house because number one, they are letting us! and two because we really didn't want a formal reception, we just want people to come out and have an awesome time and enjoy themselves and also for the families to get to know each other. Since we couldn't accommodate everyone to go to the Bahamas to witness our wedding obviously, we still want them to feel like they were there, like they didn't miss anything by having lots of pictures and recreating that fun, relaxing environment that we (as in the people who will be attending the wedding) will experience. A lot of people have voiced their opinions on their wishes that the wedding was here, and Todd and I understand that fully. We wish everyone could be a part of this. But at the same time, what is more romantic than a private, beach wedding with our closest friends and family? We understand that a lot of people can't afford to take off work or quite simply don't want to spend the money to go, and that is totally fine, we didn't expect half the people who are going to go but we are so pleased with everyone who decided to be a part in our big day.
